Small groups are at the heart of student life here at Christchurch. Our aim is to be changed by God’s Word as we study it prayerfully, and to help encourage and care for one another as we seek to live for Jesus Christ.
Focus provides a great chance to get to know others in Durham - many students have found that friends from Focus have stayed with them for good!
We meet each Thursday evening to grab a bite to eat, study the Bible and pray. As well as that, there will usually be a talk from our Senior Minister or Student Worker, either focusing on an area of the Christian life (such as money, marriage, church) or on a doctrine from the Bible (such as the return of Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit, sin, creation).
Food is served from 6.15, and Bible studies begin at 7pm. The evening closes at around 9.15pm.

If you would like to find out more information, our student worker Rob Brown would be more than happy to speak to you.
